How totally wonderful, you lucky lucky duck! Can we get an inside peek too? Now you have somewhere to use those wonderful vintage fabrics you have been hoarding! melx
I am so excited for you Sherry. Insanely jealous, but excited. Can't wait to have a look inside... What are your plans for your gorgeous new baby? He/she looks to be in tip top condition. Yay! x
My heart skipped a beat when I spotted this. A Retro caravan to do up is on my wishlist. Have just discovered your blog and love it! Can't wait to see the Caravan transformation!
Hi Kurt! We are going to do a clean up but not a full restoration. We will get rid of as many dings as we can and give it a paint. Check the gas lines and fix the sink tap as it won't pump water. We will keep the inside as is as the curtains are still good and clean up some areas where the wall water has come off with paint. Thanks for checking out my blog!
if you where wondering the model of this franklin is a caravelle and im the happy oner of a 1968 version witch involves a complete over haul. heres a link to the page of the progress so far. Im the 15 year old mentioned in the thread.
Hi! I have actually come across your caravan while Googling. A friend also bought an old Franklin and told me about the numbers on it that tell you the age so yes I found out it is a 1968. We still have not had any time to get stuck into it but should soon. Looking forward to following your story, you remind me of my Dad who did up his Dads old vintage car at the same age as you. :)
Oh wow, what a beauty.
